The City & Beatles Tour

All aboard to meet your Live Tour Guide (English Only) at Gower Street on the Royal Albert Dock.  You will hear about the social history of the city and where the fab four stayed and played.  See all the city's historic sights, like the two Cathedrals on Hope Street before we whisk you off to the leafy suburbs of south Liverpool - home of the Fab Four.  We make two stops Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields, you can get off the bus, take photographs or our friendly guide will take them for you.  Then onto the childhood home of John Lennon (where we stop the bus outside), then we drive passed Paul McCartney's home. You will hear tales, songs and prose about the life and times of The Beatles.  Travelling back towards the city you will get to hear all about the great River Mersey and our Unesco World Hertiage waterfront.

Whether you're Beatles fanatic or would like to know more about the band and their city, you will arrive as a tourist and leave a Local!

This is a Live Guided tour in English only. We focus of guides that are entertaining, trained and customer focused. We warmly welcome everyone onto this tour in our fully accessible buses, the only problem you may have is that you don't want to hop off! Buy your tickets here...

*****
Been around the world and you won’t see better than this. Damion and Mandy hosted this Beatles Tour for us. A packed bus but all ages perfectly accommodated for in terms of Damion’s historical and political context to the City of Liverpool, to the Beatles and their heritage. You honestly cannot get better than this - facts, legend, stop-offs for photos and the chance for a sing-song if that sort of thing takes your fancy. I will be recommending this tour - to all that I know across the world. Sterling stuff, Merseyside Pride. As for Damion - my daughter (only 12) said ‘I think he derseves a knighthood or something. he’s better than Paul McCatyney.”

Unmissable! To see Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields and the houses of John Lennon and a glimpse of Paul McCartney’s house was amazing. Thank you so much, Lee and Mandy. We’ll be back!

One of the best bus tours I’ve been on!
Almost without exception when I visit a city for the first time I use the hop on hop off bus tour to give me some ideas of where I should visit. This tour was up there with the best of them. The tour guide was informative, enthusiastic and comical, all at the same time. Right from the start, he engaged with the passengers, encouraging questions which he answered, usually with humour, where appropriate.

I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to know more about Liverpool and who are looking for a lively and entertaining tour guide.
